A news article regarding the huge popularity of the Korean Wave and Chinese tourists subsequently visiting Korea was published in the Japanese
paper ‘Yomiuri'.
This article mentioned the current status of wealthy Chinese people and what they do when they come to Korea. Popular tourist destinations,
as well as Korean beauty and aesthetic trends were also listed.

When gathering sources for the article, Yomiuri staff members asked Chinese tourists what they thought about Korean plastic surgery.
They even interviewed Chinese people to find out what cosmetic surgeries were popular as well as where the recommended plastic surgery clinics were. Dr. Park Wonjin of Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic answered questions about Chinese tourists visiting Korea for cosmetic surgery and part of
his answers were also included in the Yomiuri article.
